Jan 30, 2010 - Ken speaks at Town hall meeting in Hesperia

68 people attended the evening event. The folks in Hesperia are hopping mad about having their taxes raised by the current Assemblyman Anthony Adams. If he had gone there, he would have left with no chrome left on the bumpers of his Chevy truck. 2nd Amendment rights, States’ rights, reduced funding for education was some of the issues raised the most. One person there wanted me to agree to resign if I raised taxes on them so that I would not need to be recalled. I mean they are really angry about this.

All we as citizens can do, is pay taxes and vote. They are fearful about what the next assemblyman will do, and who can blame them after being betrayed by the man they trusted to protect them.

Jan 26 , 2010  - Campaign Strategy Meeting Held

Ken shared that the conservatives in Sacramento legislature really need encouragement to stay at the fight against liberal policies and Big Government. Ken suggests voters in the fighting 59th to call Anthony Adams and encourage him to not vote against them this time around during the budget negotiations and approval process.

Jan 23, 2010 - Ken Returns From Sacramento

Ken returned from 5 days of meetings with key Republican legislators and anti-tax organizers in Sacramento last week.  Ken exchanged strategies to slash taxes and the regulations that are strangling California’s economy.  While California sinks deeper and deeper into recession, the professional politicians in Sacramento are trying to pass laws to regulate your tire pressure, require contractors to replace perfectly good engines in their equipment, get rid of free parking for businesses and force California into a single payer health system.  They must be stopped and fortunately, the tide is turning.

Fighting back against the arrogance of Democrats in Washington and their own states, voters in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts have unleashed a political hurricane.  These victories were only possible because Independents, Democrats and Republican voters all realized that government spending and regulation have to be slashed.  California voters will soon have their chance.  It is now possible, perhaps even likely, that the professional Democrat politicians will lose the governor’s seat and majorities in both houses.  California taxpayers, businesses and families can than look forward to lower taxes, less regulation, and a government that serves the people, not the people serving the government.

Ken is urging all voters; Independent, Democrat and Republican, not just to replace the high tax, over regulating professionals in Sacramento, but also plan for a new government.  We must start planning now, not just to remove the Sacramento bureaucracy, but to replace it with a better, smaller, less intrusive government.

If you would like to keep your job, get a job, keep your house, keep more of your money, stop politicians from regulating your life, and better schools for your kids, join Ken.  Get California working.

Jan 18, 2010 - Ken Goes To Sacramento

Jan 15, 2010 - Campaign Strategy Meting Held

Ken met with his campaign manager and staff to review latest poll, campaign contributions and endorsement commitments. It was not surprising to learn that potential voters of the 59th district will vote for a non-politician over a professional politician by a 5 to 1 margin. One potential candidate has been in politics for over twenty years but we could not find any information regarding what he has ever accomplished.

Jan 14, 2010 - Alert: AB 32 Brings Us – Tire Nazis

This article, written by Ken, brings attention to how you may go to jail for under-inflated tires.

Today a business owner can expect to spend half his money on taxes. Rush Limbaugh says he can argue with liberals with half his brain tied behind his back. Cell phones are half the size they were five years ago and beginning as early as this July, you could soon go to jail for driving your car with tires that are half a goats’ fart shy of the recommended air pressure. Yep. [Read More...]

Jan 6, 2010 - Ken Gathers With Conservatives

The invitation only event was sponsored by Conservative leader Tom Fuentes. Approx. 120 conservatives met at the exclusive Balboa Bay Club for an evening of conservative conversation and fellowship. I met with Dr. Steven Choi who is running for Assembly District 70. Mr. Bill Hunt, who is the frontrunner in the Orange County Sheriff election. Dr. Choi is a very feisty gung ho American and is currently a City of Irvine Councilman.  We discussed strategies that will defeat our opponents. Sheriff candidate Bill Hunt is a tall , no-nonsense Buford Pusser type who loves our Constitution and is proud to be an American. He is endorsed by Sheriff Joe, so you get the picture. There were cigars hosted by Tom Fuentes which was great, but I always had to keep checking to see if anyone around me was burning a hole in my suit.

Jan 3, 2010 - Ken adds Decentralization To Platform
“I have embraced the Government reform concept promoted by BringThePoliticiansHome.Net

Many of these ideas can be implemented in Sacramento through allowing the legislature to meet just one week per month or less in Sacramento and working three weeks per month in their district offices.

This simple change coupled with a commitment by legislators to meet with lobbyists only in their home districts will re establish more effective and constitutional representative Government."

See Ken’s video here…

Victory for the Fighting 59th
Ken Hunter - January 2, 2010

Our economy is much worse than reported in the media. We need a fast and secure track to restore our prosperity and jobs. The only solution is to reduce the size, scope and uncontrolled expense of California’s government.

Only the private sector can create real jobs, not the government. Reducing taxes, spending and regulations will ignite our economy.
